The Weekend...

Fall Fest = 2500 sweaty sticky happy kids running around and playing on all of the carnival games I planned. It's pretty neat seeing all of your ideas come to life. A guy named Mark Marshall spent all of his time building the games, and Heidi put her stroke of talent into the lion game. Despite a few wooden ducks being decapitated, it went well.
Jesse Lusko = The love of my life coming to town and making everything so so much better!! I only had to wait 10 days from the last time I saw him, yet I still flipped when I saw him!! So good.

Nate and Jenae getting hitched= Tears and romance. What a beautiful wedding. My favorite was watching Nate's face change when he saw her walking down the aisle. After the wedding was one heck of a reception. Good eatin', and good dancing.
My Trip.....

It was finally here. The time when Jesse and I would finally be reunited after 56 long and difficult days. We both dressed up like folks from the 30's and nervously awaited the moment. Alone, I stood out and many people rudely stared, wondering why I would wear that on a plane. But I knew that when I would finally see him, it would all make sense. Every minute painfully dragged on as the plane slowly neared my destination. Finally, as the plane made it's bumpy landing on California land, I quickly grabbed my bag and set off to see him! I followed the crowd and eventually got to the escalator and then stopped. There he was, smiling up at me and as handsome as ever. My heart leapt for joy and I couldn't handle the anticipation built up as I went down the escalator. Finally, after 1344 hours without him, we embraced. It was absolutely magical, and everything that was happening around us fell away. I couldn't believe I was actually with him!!!! As we made our way to the car, we barely said anything. We were both just so thankful to God for giving us this amazing gift of reunion.
Jesse has a dinner planned that night, and after showing me around the campus he blindfolded me and took me to the car. He drove around for a few minutes, parked, and then got me out of the car. I was so confused and excited! Then I heard, "Bojour," and upon taking off my blindfold, realized that we were still on campus!! He got one of his friends from the bible college to be our waiter, and served us wonderful candlelit dinner under the moonlight!! It was so romantic, and to top it off, Mat, Chris, Devan and Lee mysteriously appeared from out of the bushes and sang us the song, "Kiss the Girl" from the Little Mermaid.

Tell me where'd you get your body from?
Kirsi and I at the mall hunt! I am her grandma and she reluctantly took me along because I wanted to find a new purse. Grandmas go to malls.

JESSE!!!!
I am 2 days, 6 hours, 24 minutes and 33 seconds away from seeing the love of my life!!!
God has really tested us these past two months, but we have looked to Him for strength and He has blessed us with an even stronger relationship! We constantly thank Him for these trials. And we will continue to thank Him when we are together!! I am so thankful that He has given me such a man of God and I AM SO EXCITED TO GO OUT THERE!!

That's all.

Dumb.
There's chaos on the streets. Millions are slowly losing their minds, trying to make sense of it all. Many have turned to violence, fighting back with their fire torches and pitch forks. Still others have fled, trying to escape the truth. And what is the truth????

Wicker.
After 8 hours of selling Joel Rosenberg books and wearing black shirts we managed to make it to tea and eclaires at Flying Star. In an hour and half we're going back for vertical fun and I have to stay for meetings and volleyball. We're feisty.

Fertilizer company secrets revealed.
Crawling and quivering on the side of the concrete steps at calvary you can find these happy little two headed monsters. You scoff and chuckle now but just wait and see for yourself. They're everywhere. Our grass is lush but our bugs are deformed. What's more important to you?

Updates on my life.
I got a house. I moved in. My parent's house is no longer the sweet refuge I once knew. It now falls in line with a house that I "visit". There is now a difference between "your house" and "your parent's house". It feels weird. Now all I need is a roommate. Wink Wink.
I started school. I bought a $200 math book that wasn't necessary. I went to the boy's locker room instead of my english class. Walking from one side of campus to the other, I realized that I wasn't as healthy as I should be. Nevertheless, it feels alot better than highschool.
I got a job. Calvary events coordinator assistant. Whoop Whoop. I felt pretty confident today looking through the next event I was to help plan- Fall Fest. This is the most responsibility I have been given in a job....will I rise to the challenge?
I have doughnuts at my house.
I feel like I'm gonna get addicted to 24.
Heidi and I beat Jesse and Devan in the fun challenge despite the fact that they're next to Beverly Hills. Tells you something.
My room at "my parent's house" is now a movie extravaganza.

Hula canoola
Comcast held their own cute little version of the Olympics today, and I decided to participate. Knowing that one of my personal strengths includes hula-hooping, I decided that that would be the direction for me to go. After I completed the required 10 minutes of prelims, I made it into the finals. This would be a hula-off between me and some hoodlum we got off the streets (just kidding, he works there ). After much persistence and perspiration, I won. The grand time?? Two straight hours. Yes, you saw it right. 120 big ones. The crowd was cheering and flowers were thrown as I beat at my chest and pumped my fists in the air. Along with the well earned glory, I received a $30gas gift card, and two luscious Milky Ways. Although I feel a tinge of shame for spending two hours whipping a plastic ring around my waist, I am proud to say that I have become a hero to hula hoopers around the world. Look out, Michael Phelps, here I come.

Clear and Comcastic

I was at Clear Channel today promoting a Comcast event at UNM on the Buck and Dex show. Since I planned the event during my internship there, I volunteered to represent. Tiffany (a lady) and I waited foran hour prepping about everything we were going to say, and finally Buck came out. Tiffany says that usually they put on a commercial break and tell you what to do, but that didn’t happen. He brought us into the room and literally started. I didn’t know what I was doing. I struggled with my words and got really distracted by a button that said “cough” on it. I got it done thought and that was good. It turns out Dex is a Christian and I got to talk to him about his interview at the 02 experience. Overall, I say it was a job well done. http://abqmedia.com/comcast
Goodbye stationary

Blogs. Blogging. Blog blog blog. What is it really??? For those of youwho are still a bit confused about this peculiarity, I will explain. According to ChaCha who so kindly gave me her time, a blog is a“personal online journal that is frequently updated and intended for general public consumption.” I know what you’re wondering. What ever happened to the good old journals? The ones that you can hold close and open with a secret key?? Well, my friend, those are gone. Good days are O V E R. Back when I was a kid, d
