Rice Krispy Conspiracy

My mom and I were at the store when we came across this dilemma. Should we get the family pack for 5.19 or two for four dollars? Once we realized that both deals include 16 bars, we scoffed and put two boxes in our basket. We think we got a good deal but for some reason I still think they won.

The Weekend...

Fall Fest = 2500 sweaty sticky happy kids running around and playing on all of the carnival games I planned. It's pretty neat seeing all of your ideas come to life. A guy named Mark Marshall spent all of his time building the games, and Heidi put her stroke of talent into the lion game. Despite a few wooden ducks being decapitated, it went well.

Jesse Lusko = The love of my life coming to town and making everything so so much better!! I only had to wait 10 days from the last time I saw him, yet I still flipped when I saw him!! So good.

Dance Party '08= Candy being flung everywhere and dancing till we drop. 20 attended. No one was hurt. Highlights include: Briana's Night of the Roxbury head nod. My roommate and her 6'5'' boyfriend DJ squeezing through the crowd to leave. Jesse's reaction when they left. Eric handing us random trinkets as we did interpretive dance. Finding candy underneath my couch today.

Nate and Jenae getting hitched= Tears and romance. What a beautiful wedding. My favorite was watching Nate's face change when he saw her walking down the aisle. After the wedding was one heck of a reception. Good eatin', and good dancing.

My Trip.....

It was finally here. The time when Jesse and I would finally be reunited after 56 long and difficult days. We both dressed up like folks from the 30's and nervously awaited the moment. Alone, I stood out and many people rudely stared, wondering why I would wear that on a plane. But I knew that when I would finally see him, it would all make sense. Every minute painfully dragged on as the plane slowly neared my destination. Finally, as the plane made it's bumpy landing on California land, I quickly grabbed my bag and set off to see him! I followed the crowd and eventually got to the escalator and then stopped. There he was, smiling up at me and as handsome as ever. My heart leapt for joy and I couldn't handle the anticipation built up as I went down the escalator. Finally, after 1344 hours without him, we embraced. It was absolutely magical, and everything that was happening around us fell away. I couldn't believe I was actually with him!!!! As we made our way to the car, we barely said anything. We were both just so thankful to God for giving us this amazing gift of reunion.

Jesse has a dinner planned that night, and after showing me around the campus he blindfolded me and took me to the car. He drove around for a few minutes, parked, and then got me out of the car. I was so confused and excited! Then I heard, "Bojour," and upon taking off my blindfold, realized that we were still on campus!! He got one of his friends from the bible college to be our waiter, and served us wonderful candlelit dinner under the moonlight!! It was so romantic, and to top it off, Mat, Chris, Devan and Lee mysteriously appeared from out of the bushes and sang us the song, "Kiss the Girl" from the Little Mermaid.

The rest of the weekend was spent floating on a cloud. We went to old town Temecula, ate In and Out, went to the beach and cuddled in the sun, read the Word, and had our share of fun at Knotts Berry farm. Although it went by so fast, I am so thankful to God for giving me such an amazing relationship and such an amazing time!!
